Rock, Rap, Norteño Music Icons Join Artist Lineup for 150th Colorado State Fair

Multi-Platinum Rockers Stone Temple Pilots, Lou Gramm Original Lead Singer of Foreigner with special guest Berlin, T.I., and Los Tucanes de Tijuana Slated To Perform

The Colorado State Fair announced a new round of performers who will help the state celebrate the 150th Fair. Stone Temple Pilots (sponsored by the Colorado Lottery), Lou Gramm (original lead singer of Foreigner) with special guest Berlin, T.I., and Celebración de los Charros with Los Tucanes de Tijuana presented by Mercado Motors have all joined the lineup of musical acts.

Poultry Shows a No-Go At 2022 Colorado State Fair

Upon guidance from the Colorado State Veterinarian, the Colorado State Fair Board Authority has made the determination to cancel any poultry shows during the 2022 fair. This precautionary measure is being taken as highly pathogenic avian influenza continues to affect domestic poultry across the nation. The Board approved the cancellation during their regular Board meeting on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

Country Music Stars Coming to Colorado State Fair in August

Randy Rogers Band and Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry Join Entertainment Lineup

The Colorado State Fair has announced two additional concert headliners: The PRCA Ram Rodeos will feature performances by the Randy Rogers Band and Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry. The 150th State Fair is scheduled from August 26 – September 5, 2022.

Colorado State Fair Generates $55.5M in Economic Impact in 2021

The Colorado State Fair Authority released a new economic impact report detailing specifics of the fair’s contributions to Pueblo’s economy. In 2021, the 11 days of the State Fair generated $43.7 million in total output which supported 506 total jobs and $14.9 million in total earnings in Pueblo County. In addition, non-fair activity in 2021 generated $11.8 million in total output which supported 106 total jobs and $4.3 million in total earnings in the County. 

Inaugural Governor’s Plate Awarded at Colorado State Fair

Receiving the highest praise and the first-ever Governor’s Plate award, the Papa Mario’s Grilled Cheese Food Truck was crowned the winner at the Colorado State Fair’s inaugural Colorado-sourced food competition. The Governor’s Plate winner was the Panfili grilled cheese, prepared with ingredients from Colorado Proud producers, including Musso Farms and Springside Cheese.

“Governor’s Plate” Event to Feature Colorado Sourced Ingredients

To highlight Colorado’s diverse and unbeatable agricultural products and chefs, Governor Jared Polis has announced the inaugural “Governor’s Plate” competition to debut at the 2021 Colorado State Fair. The competitors will partner with Colorado Proud to select Colorado-grown ingredients, including the Pueblo chile, to incorporate in their dishes.
